New key speaker for CEE-SECR 2011

Serguei Beloussov, according to Forbes.ru one of the top 30 in Russian internet business, will speak at Central and Eastern European Software Engineering Conference (Russia): www.cee-secr.org

Mr. Beloussov is a successful self-made entrepreneur, investor advisor with an outstanding 19-year track record in building, growing and leading high-performing, multi-national high tech companies in North America, Europe and Asia.

He is currently a Senior Partner and Investment Advisor in the venture capital fund Runa Capital and the Chairman and Chief Architect of Parallels, a global leader in hosting and cloud services enablement and desktop virtualization software.

Preliminary program for CEE-SECR 2011 is published

Conference program (www.cee-secr.org/program) includes such topics as: cloud computing, Agile methodologies, software engineering for mobile devices, new programming languages including domain-specific, software engineering for social networks, software reliability, education and others. Both submitted and expected papers were taken into account, as well as IT community’s interest and demand.

The program committee has decided that this year’s panel discussions, round tables, and classic keynote talks will be consolidated into thematic units. This format will allow participants to discuss most interesting questions more deeply.
The program will be updated as soon as the program committee will approve the submitted papers and will take the final shape in September.

CEE-SECR 2011 is going to Digital October Center

RUSSOFT Association (www.russoft.org) announced the decision to hold the annual general meeting of its members as an event collocated with the CEE-SECR 2011 conference (www.cee-secr.org).

CEE-SECR 2011 will take place in Moscow on October 31 – November 3. Up to 1000 leading IT-specialists from over 20 countries are expected to attend the conference this year. RUSSOFT Association is a long-term partner of the event and greatly supports the conference from the very first SECR. CEE-SECR 2011 Program Committee has announced that papers submission is now open for the conference.

Speakers (actual presenters) will get free passes to the event.

Following the conference, the Program Committee will select the 10 best academic papers for inclusion in a special issue of the Software Engineering magazine (Russian).

Submission deadline is 30 June 2011.
